Outreach Services is the traveling branch of the Huntingdon County Library, serving those who cannot easily access the library by offering a variety of services that can take place anywhere in the county, bringing the library wherever you are.

We are excited to bring you the Library By Mail program!
This free program makes books and audiobooks accessible for residents of Huntingdon County who are unable to visit the Library.
Who is eligible to use Library By Mail?

Traditional Services
Outreach Services staff can visit senior centers, assisted living facilities and nursing homes, preschools and daycare centers, to name a few.
This can include:
- Senior Technology Classes
- Preschool story times and other early literacy programs
- STEM programming
- Rotating book borrowing collections
- Book Clubs
Pop Up Library
Our Pop Up! Library program will bring the experience of visiting the library directly to your community!
We’ll bring just about any service you would expect to find at our physical location. This can include books, children’s literacy programs, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs, mobile technology, and adult programming.
All the Pop Up! programs are typically held in a community gathering place, local festivals, and at special county wide events.
